8. Can Jesus love someone like me?

Yes He can. 

Jesus loves us so much that he bore all of our sin on the cross. 

A lot of people think that God can't love them because of what they have done with their lives in the past. But God wants for us to confess our sin and He would remember them no more. No matter what we have done, if we confess our sins and repent of them, we will receive full pardon through Christ.

‘‘If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.’’ 1 John1:9.  

Some people might think God does not love them because they are sinners and God does not love sin. While this may be true, God loves us above our sins. He died for the sins we have committed that even as sinner through Him we may inherit eternal life.

That is how much God loves us.

‘‘But God demonstrated his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.’’ Romans 5:8 

See...the problem is not that God does not love us or does not forgive us, it is that we chose not to accept the love and forgiveness that God has readily waiting for us.

‘‘Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and open the door, I will come in and eat with him and him with me.’’ Revelation 3:20  

You see...God will not force the door open, we must open it. Once it is open you will know and feel the love that God has for you.
